OPRC IMO LEVEL 3
Oil spill response personnel training is an integral part of preparedness and response; a warehouse stocked with state-of-the-art oil recovery equipment is of little or no use without the properly trained workforce to deploy and operate the equipment efficiently and effectively. In any oil spill incident and scenario, the response time is critical to clean-up operations’ successful outcomes and long-term impacts on ecosystems and environments. This course provides delegates with the essential skills and tactical knowledge required to initiate and terminate response, to perform the role of Incident Commander and effectively manage an emergency response team.
